Chronicling important aspects of American history, the Henry Ford Museum has areas on everything from agriculture to jewelry, and, of course, a large display of cars including the Model T and an antique Bugatti. Important pieces of history are held at the museum, including the famous bus that Rosa Parks rode on, and the chair that Abraham Lincoln sat in at Ford's Theatre. The museum has an IMAX theater, which shows a variety of blockbuster films and documentaries, and a cafe for fast, family-friendly dining. Located in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn, the museum is set beside the living history complex of Greenfield Village and is the takeoff point for tours of the Ford Rogue Factory.

Adults $14; Seniors (62+) and Active Military $13; Youth (5-12) $10; Children 4 and under are free. IMAX rates vary, check website for details.
