The Ford Rouge Factory Tour is a five-part tour of the Ford Rouge Factory, at 600 acres it is Ford's largest industrial complex. It features a half-hour bus tour, a historical film, virtual reality theater, observation deck and a walking tour of the final assembly plant. It is located in the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village complex in Dearborn, 10 miles west of downtown Detroit. Ford began operations on the site in 1917, initially producing Eagle Boats, then tractors and in 1927 it began production of the Model A car.
Open Sep - mid-Apr: Mon. - Sat. 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; mid-Apr - Aug: daily 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Last tour leaves at 2:30pm.
Adults $14; Youth $10; Children 2 and under are free.
